How do I remove the valance?

I have a 2008 Jayco Jay Flight and I'm trying to remove the valance box to recover it. I took the velcroed curtains down, but I can't find the screws that hold the valance. The only screws I see are holding the blinds. It's a "L" shaped piece of metal. There's no way to get even a short handled screw driver up there. Please help! I don't want to have to paint this thing.

On my 2009 JayFlight 19BH, most of the valances can be unscrewed after the blinds are removed. This allows access to a screw that goes through the same bracket that holds the blinds. One of my valances screws directly into the base of a cabinet and not through the blind brackets. The blinds are sort of a nuisance to remove but stick with it. Good luck.
