How to stop the shaking when walking?

We are fairly new to this...

How do we stop the trailer from shaking so much when someone walks from one end to the other. Midnight bathroom breaks are none too subtle when you can feel each step that is taken.

We have a white hawk 28dsbh with electric stabilizers on each end.

Thank you for the help.

Try adding the x-chocks to both sides on the tires. I use them on mine and it makes a huge difference. Also try using block wood so your stabilizer jacks don't have to go down too far. They stabilize better if they aren't extended so far.

Welcome to the forum.

First, try what Coldfusion suggested. If those haven't stopped enough of the shaking for you, the next steps would be to try adding jacks near the center of the trailer frame and/or 'Strong Arm' type (there are a couple of different brand names) brackets and rods that tie the jacks together diagonally.

+2...

In addition to the 4 built in stabilizers and tongue jack, I use 4 of these in the middle of the trailer. Set on blocks with a piece of pressure treated 2x4 between jack and trailer frame.

Just to add...

Use a step jack under your first step. This will help keep the unit from tilting when entering.
