I haven't tow my setup in my signature on a long trip but after the Labor Day holiday I will see, it will be interesting to see it's about 9,000+ lbs.

We tow with a 2016 Ford Escape AWD, 2.0 Ecoboost. At 70-80 mph hiway speeds we get 26 mpg. When towing our 195BR on a recent 1109 mile round trip, we averaged 12.6 for the whole trip as indicated. I didn't believe it so I ran the numbers and came out approx. the same. We usually cruise at 65 on the interstate when towing. A couple of observations about Gas. The Ecoboost performs noticeably better on premium fuel and brands do matter. Fuel from Shell and Standard was fine, albeit more expensive. Some bargain brands were terrible and performed poorly, especially on hills. I'm happy with the fuel mileage and towing performance of the Escape.

We get 12-14 mpg with the Jay Feather, depending on conditions. We cruise in tow/haul mode at 55-60 mph (about 1600-1700 rpm most of the trip) and occasionally 65 mph. The hemi and 6 speed tranny do a good job for us. We really do not push it. We enjoy the trip as much as anything, so we take it easy on the road.

I keep pretty meticulous records on my gas mileage and I am currently averaging 26 mpg not towing and anywhere from 11 to 14 mpg towing depending on speed and conditions. Towing a 23MRB kept very light with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 Liter Eco Diesel.

with our last trailer, a jayco eagle 257rbs we averaged 12.5mpg and that is a year long average. with our new to us 2014 jayco eagle 28.5rkds 5th wheel so far this year the average is just below 12mpg. it is a lot heavier than our previous trailers but so far this year we have been towing into some tremendous winds.

We just did a round trip from MA to Nashville. I got between 8.5-9 mpg towing our 2016 Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS with our 2015 Toyota Tundra SR5. I get about 15 mpg normally when not towing (Yeah, its a gas hog)

I stopped worrying about it. LOL We tow bricks and it seems no matter the TV, the mileage is all in the same ball park.
I pull my X20E Hybrid with my Tacoma, I get about 10-12 towing. Worse if there is a headwind or lot's of steep inclines.

We just returned from a trip to the Williamsburg VA area. From the NE corner of PA to Chippoke's Plantation SP. About 900 mile RT. Averaged just a bit over 11 towing and about 18 without the brick. 2004 Silverado with a 4.8 V-8 pulling a 2016 26BH. I'm pleased

11.5 is my average in CO. I eventually have to get down off all those mountains, so the numbers each direction are extremely lopsided.

During our summer trip from Arkansas -> Yellowstone -> Black Hills -> Arkansas, I was getting anywhere from 9mpg to almost 12mpg. It just depended on hills, winds, and how far we had to go to the next stop. If it was a long haul, occasionally would hit 65-70mph on the flat sections, otherwise, tried to keep it at 60mph. Noticed the best mileage during the 60mph days.

The 4.6 in the Explorer Sport Trac averaged 8.5 on two very long trips over the Rockies and back over the last two years. Worst mileage was achieved in Nebraska (6.0) and the best in Wyoming (11.5). Seems gasoline must aspirate at a better rate in thin oxygen of the mountains than in the headwind in a flat place like Nebraska.
The new (to me) F150 delivered 10+ mpg on it's first 200 mile pulling the 20 MRB.

Gas Mileage
I get an average of 9 Towing, best of 11.2, worst 6.9 @ 60-65 MPH. I tow in central Texas (slightly hilly), and down to the coast (flat but occasional headwinds).
Around town driving with no trailer averages 12.8.
TV is a 2015 F250, 4x4, Crew cab, Long Bed, 6.2 gasser with 3.73 rear.
The 28RBDS as we load it is probably 8K lbs. Need to get it weighed.
I'm very happy with the setup.
