I am sick with a case of the Two Footsies

I made the mistake of going to the RV show last weekend in Utah. Last year we bought a new 2011 28BHS and really like the trailer. One of the reasons I got this trailer was because my tv was a 2005 F150 SC. A few weeks ago I upgraded to a F350 7.3 Diesel because I was not comfortable with the loaded hitch weight on my tv. Now I have a bad case of the two footsies. I really like the 32BHDS and or the 32TSBH. I think I may toss un-realistic number (40-45% below MSRP) at the dealer and see how bad he wants to move inventory. Has anyone upgraded within the first year? How aggressive of an offer should I make? How aggressive have you seen dealers get with % off MSRP?

Wow! What a great TV upgrade! My F-150 would love to be your F350 when it grows up (or when our pocketbook grows bigger LOL)

With that kind of umph... would you consider a 5'er?

We bought our first trailer used, it was 5 years old. Only kept it 10 months before we realized it was just too small. I ordered the Jayco, sold the used one on Craigslist in one day for exactly what we paid for it. But I think this is it for us, at least until the kids are grown and then may consider a rear lounger floorplan instead of bunks. But that`s a long ways off. My next truck though will be a 2500, when my ship comes in.

My TV upgrade went from an 05 F150 with 88k to a 02 F350 with 94k. Not as nice a truck but a much better TV.

Congratulations on the truck. Is it twofootitis or fourfootitis? We are now on our fifth trailer and can't go any longer so I am cured. (for now)

I received a quote from RV Direct for a 2012 32BHDS. The MSRP was $34,000 and they sent me a quote of $22,450. I did not choose the outdoor kitchen but choose most other options. I would go to their website and build the TT you want. They will email you a quote pretty quick.

Been there, done that too. We bought a Starcraft 15RB last July and found out very quickly we needed more storage and bigger holding tanks. Bought a used 06 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L hemi and in Dec we traded for a Jayco 22FB. Just the wife and I so this will last us a few more years until retirement and then we can think about an upgrade.
