I damaged air-con fins

long story short. I was cleaning/washing fins on roof being gentle
as can be n the hose slips off roof under its own weight, freakishly whipping n hitting fins hard.

The damage was the size of a nickel, and i was able to fix some, but there
is an area size of a jellybean thats mangled. Its on the outer grill, not the more contained one.

Am I fine with this one small, but deep hit or might this cause me problems?

As long as it didn't cause a leak in the condenser something that small will not impede the operation. If it does concern you can either purchase an AC condenser fin comp/straightener, or take you unit to a repair shop that works on AC and they can straighten them or at least let you borrow their straightener.

Well - I guess I should have known such a tool exists - but I always used a hair comb. I would just break a cheap comb so I had an inch or 2 of the courser side and use that. The spacing wasn't perfect but it worked.

A good autoparts store will have one of those combs.
