We bought our 2010 297BH in June and I haven't been away from her for this long before. I miss camping

We store ours during the winter in our backyard so we are able to see it out of our bedroom window. Gives my wife something else to look at besides me when we are fooling around

Mine are parked here at the house and we spend the night in it several times during the winter months... Great place to go watch some football games and NASCAR.

When the kids come over they have a great time sleeping over in the trailers...

I don't have water hooked up just 20AMP electric. POTS off limits...

there is a lot to loathe about living in CA, but a 365 day camping season isn't one of them. We will head out for 5 nights over the New Years Holiday for a trip to the coast with 3 other families.

I have to remind myself of these times every spring when I pay taxes and during every election when folks who have the opposite beliefs I have get to make choices for the rest of us.

There is no reason that anyone, living in Texas needs to stop camping during the winter....IF you do not go camping don't blame the weather ... unless your in a tent ... Oh and Merry Christmas !

+1! I love having the 365 day camping season here too!! The only reason we take a break is for work.

I miss my camper too, but it's only been in storage for about a week, and I get to go pick it up for our next adventure this Sunday!

Mine is about 5 min. away, but my wife thinks I have issues because I go see it often. So I have had to back off a little. I know she misses it as well, but maybe not as much as me

Oh man I feel the pain!

I'm with you all, I'm so depressed right now. Missing the MH and I've tried
to talk the wife into loading her up and head south for Christmas. She's
not going for it. I'm hating all this wet weather and just want a little sun.
Oh well, guess I'll go sit in it and watch some football like some others.

We picked up our new camper at the end of November, spent two weeks looking at it in the driveway, then took it to storage. We keep it in indoor heated storage, but it's in a machine shed on someone else's property and we won't see it again until spring. It's been more than a MONTH straight of cloudy, gloomy weather here in IL. I swear I'm dying here!

I'm getting the winter blues so bad that my husband and I are going to take a quick road trip to Destin Florida for a couple of days in early January. I'm praying that the sun is shining!

rc, I hear ya there. We're about 70 miles north of you. Lot's of rainy, grey, low clouds. Better than snow, I guess. My trailer is about 5 minutes away and all covered up for the winter. If you look at our 10 day forecast, brutal cold coming next week.

So far the only drawback to the ADCO a cover in my opinion is the loss of running out the slides for a nights sleep.

My wife thinks I should move my home office to the camper, and get more value out of it. She's got a point, but I just HAD to have a TT cover this time.

Well I just had to pull out the paperwork today with the confirmation from Jayco of the build on our new unit, it was confirmed Oct 10/14 and say's estimated shipping date of Dec 26/14...lol...I'm pretty anxious...bad part is the driveway isn't long enough to accommodate and the snow is too deep to run away, so it goes right to storage until April....I'm dying over here
