I need to know...

Hi guys, we just purchased a new Jayco 26bh a couple of weeks ago and I need to know what is the device attached to the chassis with a red cover. There is a positive wire from the battery connected to it from one end and continues to the other end to the back of the trailer. Thank you in advance for any help.

Sounds like a battery disconnect.. Did the TT dealer not do a delivery walk through with you?

Our 24FBS has the same thing you are talking about. I asked the service manager at my dealer. He said it was an auto reset breaker. I never looked into any further. I assume his statement is correct.

I believe that is a breaker but I haven't taken the cover off mine to look at it

I think it's a current limiter/battery fuse. It's on the front diamond plate area, one wire in, one wire out, and a red rubber/silicone cover with two nipples on it? Pull the cover off, those nipples are covering the screws on the electrical terminals and read the printing on it. 50A seems to come to mind when I had a look at mine wondering the same thing.
