Installing an awning...........How tough is it?

I have the slide thingy at the top and the footers from the previous owners awning.
I went to the local dealer and they can't get us in for three weeks.
My question is, how difficult would it be to install it myself?
Any thoughts?

Thanks!

There are a couple of videos on YouTube - depending on your make and model.

If your handy at all it should not be a problem especially if you have a second person and follow the directions. I have done at least 10 regular, slide and window awnings in my personal or friends units.

Just be sure you don't pull the pins on the end of the tube until you reach that step as directed.

If your referring to the "loaded springs", I agree about following the instructions carefully.
