Is this a good price for a 314BDS ?

We just purchased a 2013 Eagle Super Lite 314 BDS for $28,495.00 (not including TTL) with the following options......Do you guys think this is a good price? I know this is after the fact....I should have ask this question prior to the purchase.

2013 314 BDS
- customer value package
- 50 amp service 2nd AC prep
- roof ladder
- power tongue jack
- power stabilizer jack
- aluminum rims
- keyless entry
- hide a bed
- outside kitchen

What are some of you paying or seeing for prices out there?

Take 22 to 19 % off the MSRP Sheet. If that is what you paid, you did good for 2013 that they didn't want to dump off because he new one were coming.

Did the research. MSRP on that unit is $37,295.00. 20% off of that is $29,836.00.
They knocked nearly 21% off the price. Being its a 2013, you kicked ass with that dealer. A good dealer will bargain down to nearly their invoice. Depending on the time of year, they usually get a $2000.00 kickback from Jayco on each new unit sold.

I bought a 2012 in August for $27,200 (after all nick-nack expenses like title and tags, etc.). I thought I got a screaming deal. So think about it this way - you paid $1K more than me and got a year newer model with the udated graphics. Good deal!

We just picked up our 2013 with the following options on Friday for $25,300 w/o tax title and license.
-Customer value package with 15K a/c
-Trundle Bed
-Hide a bed sofa
-Main door keyless entry
-Electric stabilizer jacks
-Power tongue jack
-Aluminum rims
-Outside kitchen
-Roof Ladder
-Raised wood panel for refrigerator

We had done TONS of research and found the best pricing at Your RV Connection in Indiana next to Jayco. Thats only two hours away from us so we were prepared to buy there if our local dealer wouldn't match or come very close to their pricing. We had read that you can feel you got a good deal if your 30% below MSRP and I think we got around 32% below but I see above someone said 20%. Anyway enjoy your trailer and don't beat yourself up over price . . . there will always be someone who got a better deal but think how much better you did than lots of others!

Well done guys....great deals! If they are right next to the factory I'd say one of the big reasons you are getting it for less is the fact that they don't have to have them shipped 100s or 1000s of miles away. I'm thinking the shipping alone would have to account for several thousand dollars.

Shipping is a pretty penny out here to California I'm sure! Still we were also able to get a little over 20% off MSRP on our new trailer.

Great thread. We are in the market for a new 314BDS and thanks to this thread I know what the target is for price. Where can I find the MSRP where I can pick the options I want the TT to have?

Thanks!!

Here is the "Build and Price" link from the Jayco website for the Eagle line. Choose the options you want and it will give you an MSRP starting point.

Our Eagle listed for 39,339, shipping of 350 and a 150 registration fee included Paid $26,805. Almost 32% off. We made the deal in November of 2010 for delivery in late April of 2011. In that time we added 500 in mandatory options/improvements for items built after January, but I figured that into the above numbers.

I don't know this, but I would think that was about the bottom of the RV

When I first got a call on the 500 I thought, Oh-oh, here we go. But it included Corian type counters, more insulation in the front cap and a larger, procelain toilet. I was happy to pay it.

REMEMBER OUR VETS EVERY DAY!
