Is this cosmetic ??

So I got this light tan colored piece right here.....

It has, some cracks in it & I honestly do suspect that it is cosmetic but I would like a new one. Is there a official name for this piece and anyone care to venture a guesstimate @ the price??

Believe that is called a wheel skirt. Couldn't guess the cost but contact your local dealer they can get that info. and order it for you.

The screws were likely over torqued on assembly; however they are pretty flimsy. I wouldn't worry too much about it, a new one might do the same. If you purchase replacements, I'd leave them on the shelf until the current ones are shot, which might be years down the road.

I had a wheel skirt on my old motorhome that had a similar crack when I bought it. It was 9 years old then and it stayed that way until I sold it 10 years later.

X2 by Boss Wagon. I have towed many miles since buying our used 2004 Designer 5er, which had several cracks in both wheel skirts when we got it. None have enlarged, and no new ones have appeared. If you can live with the cracks you have, you could save $$ by bypassing a new one, which will likely eventually crack as well. JMHO
