It's a good thing that I went to check on my RV.

This is what I find when I went, it did leak a little inside my RV but not bad.

So since I was out to the storage checking on my RV and find this I decided to replace all of them and fitting them with the rv vent cover.

S
Starting to replace all of them.

Bracket for the big cover.

MaxAir side view.

Great pictures and you will be really happy now. We did the same thing on our unit and have never looked back. Keep the vents open now for circulation rain or shine.

Yes sir, I am so glad that I went out to check on the rv, I had some water inside but it could have been worse. I told the wife that since one of the vent cover crack I didn't want to take the change of the other doing the same.

I love the ideal on opening all the vent even when it rain, we can have some fresh air coming in. We are planning a trip to Las Vegas this September so it will come in handy open all of them up when we are away.

One of the best mods you can do are vent covers. Put them on mine right after I got it. I leave the vent open most of the time.

Looks good. Like crab man, I put my vent cover on as soon as I brought my camper home.

Now you'll just have to keep an eye on those skylights...

Question, Would it have been a good idea to put daycare sealant around the base of the vent cover after you got it installed?

When we got the bungalow we put them on, and on the 33RLDS also. Wouldn't be without them

I'm learning about this camping thing, I believe that this is one of the best mod you can do but man spending over $250.00 to do all of them put a big hole in my pocket book, I'm glad that I did it those.

Great mod, and thanks for the writeup. It's super easy too!

I did this the first week we had the trailer. I used the Camco ones available everywhere, but now it's starting to look pretty "weathered". If I replace, I will drop a little more coin for the Maxxair brand, and hopefully get some more "life" out of it. I only have one vent.

It's totally worth it, I leave my vent open pretty much permanently, and have never had a drop of water come into my trailer.

We had our Maxxair vent covers [3] thrown in with the deal when we ordered our unit. Dealer installed them. 4 years and still look great. I pulled them off late last year to clean the insides. You wouldn't believe how dirty they can get. The caulk still looks brand new underneath. Love 'em and wouldn't have a camper without them.
