jay feather 165 fresh water fillup

So i am filling the fresh water tank and instead of the water coming out the screen that is next to the fill up it comes out the bottom. Is this a problem or did jayco just happen to run my overflow to the bottom drain?

If yours is like mine, they ran the overflow down.
The overfill outlet at the fill location is plugged.
I like this better than my other campers that sprayed me when the tank was full.

Hey MMeyer - first of all welcome to the forum! If you get a chance, come on over to the new member forum and introduce yourself.

On the screen - that is actually to allow the air to escape the tank as it fills. The overflows are located on the bottom of the tank - so it is working just as expected.

I thought we had a problem the first time we filled ours up too.

I plugged that silly overflow tube... it was set too low in the tank and siphoned out half the tank
