Jay flight 22fb bedroom tv mount

I have a new Jay flight 22fb that has a place to mount a tv in the bedroom. Does anyone know what type of mount I can get and what kind of screws I can use to mount it to the wall?

There is a solid piece of wood mounted somewhere behind the paneling in that wall. Be sure to sound out the wall to determine where it is. In mine, the solid wood was located pretty far below where they had attached the sticker indicating where to mount the TV.

I mounted something else there, not a TV, so I don't have any suggestion for a TV mount in a travel trailer. As far as screws, i would suggest large wood screws that are just slightly shorter than the thickness of the wall.

The sticker in the bedroom of my Eagle was about 1-1/2" higher than the actual backer board. It's best to use a stud finder to locate the edges, then mark it with a pencil. Follow the directions for the mount, and mount it per their instructions. As to the type of mount, that depends on the T.V., its weight, the angle from which you'll be viewing, and the amount of space you have. An LCD will need to be viewed pretty much straight on, so you'll want one that pivots (or has a pivoting arm). But, you'll need extra room for the pivoting arm and the TV to be tied down during travel. An LED can be viewed from a wider angle without the picture being distorted or washed out, so you may just need a flat mount. LED's are also the lightest weight. All the big box stores (electronics, hardware, house ware, will carry them - and for a TT Bedroom sized TV, they're not very expensive. Go in and browse. Read the info on the boxes . . . they'll tell you what size TV they'll support and what they'll do.

This is the TV mount I used in my TT. It's a great mount for the price for TVs under 24 inches. I think I bought a 1/2 or 3/4" pack of screws since the screws included with the mount would have gone thru the wall where I mounted mine. Wal Mart carries mounts but you can find them much cheaper on-line - Monoprice and Amazon have better deals on them.
