Jay Flight - 26BH Hitch Ball Size and Height

We have ordered a 2016 26BH and I am planning on buying an Equal-i-zer hitch from a different dealer. I am trying to prep in advance of picking it up and want to get the hitch setup as much as possible before the PDI so that we can just go if everything is okay.

So is there anyone out there that can tell me what ball size I need, and the approximate height of the trailer hitch so that I can get the truck side at about the same level.

If I can get that info, then all that I have to do is install the trailer side brackets when I pick it up...

The Ball size is 2 5/16 as far as the ball height has been different on every trailer I have owned so no help there

It all depends. You have to get your new trailer on level ground and measure to the top of the coupler. Jayco is mounting the coupler on the top or bottom of the A frame. Unfortunately you are going have to adjust the head when you pick up the TT. The dealer should do it for you.

Like old blue said, the ball is 2-5/16".

Mine was 23", most are 22"-25", if you set it at 23" you would have a good chance of getting it right or only being off by an 1" or so which can be adjusted with the tilt of the hitch head.

I have a 24FBS. When I set up my equalizer, the coupler was 30-1/2" off the ground with a top mounted coupler. Maybe the 26BH is different.
