I have the Eagle version, a 324 RBTS. The unit is basically 9k pounds as built. I would recommend a good 2500 with the towing rear end (4.10 on a GM) if you can...
We initially looked at the Jayflight version but a few factors swayed us to the Eagle...
- Eagle wasn't much more and basically has all the optional equipment as standard.
- The windows in the slide are bigger and the end slide windows open.
- The arched ceiling creates a more open feel to the inside.
With that said I deleted the carpet in the bunk room, this is based on previous experience that the carpet is low end at best. I also added the unlisted slide toppers and high speed vent fan with rain sensor and thermostat to the bunk room. Because of the outside kitchen fridge draw and family electronics I suggest getting 50amp service. I'm overall happy with the unit. Be sure to price out Terrytown RV and RVDirect it made buying the Eagle basically a no brainer.
