I was wondering if anyone else out there owns a 33 bhts and what they tow it with, also what are your likes and dislikes about this unit. Thanks!

I have a 31TSBH, not sure of difference. We purchased it Last month and have taken it out twice and love it. I tow with a GMC 2500hd 6.0l gas and it tows great. I added Reese dual cam weight distribution hitch for added safety. Mine weighs right at 8800 lbs.

I have the Eagle version, a 324 RBTS. The unit is basically 9k pounds as built. I would recommend a good 2500 with the towing rear end (4.10 on a GM) if you can...

We initially looked at the Jayflight version but a few factors swayed us to the Eagle...

- Eagle wasn't much more and basically has all the optional equipment as standard.
- The windows in the slide are bigger and the end slide windows open.
- The arched ceiling creates a more open feel to the inside.

With that said I deleted the carpet in the bunk room, this is based on previous experience that the carpet is low end at best. I also added the unlisted slide toppers and high speed vent fan with rain sensor and thermostat to the bunk room. Because of the outside kitchen fridge draw and family electronics I suggest getting 50amp service. I'm overall happy with the unit. Be sure to price out Terrytown RV and RVDirect it made buying the Eagle basically a no brainer.

Hi all, just wanted to give a report on my last trip. I was skeptical about my truck towing my trailer but have found out all that worry was for nothing. My ecoboost pulled my trailer no problem and even at a steep incline at about 2400 rpm. There was a little sway though so I will have to adjust the weight a little, but other than that no problems. I will get to try it again when I go camping on the 26th. Thanks again all for the info.

I pull mine with a 2002 2500 HD chevy 6.0 liter gas engine with a 4.10 rear end. and it pulls great. You do have to be carefull how it is loaded as it can bounce pretty good on some roads. Swaying has not been an issue. We love the camper but the thing I don't like is retracting the power cord. The box it goes into is way to small and narrow. I also don't care for the rats nest of wiring that is under the bottom drawer in the bunkhouse. My favorite thing about the camper is the outside kitchen.

The Eagle version has a twist on marine detachable cord setup - they sell a conversion kit for the round hatch style on Jay flights. Worth the money and eliminates hassle.

Where can you purchase the conversion kit?

Speaking of the retracting power cord, I never had an issue until the last time I was out. What a battle to get it out! Does anyone know where you access the compartment from on the inside? I removed the panel right below the pantry and that wasn't it. I was looking at how to remove the bottom panel, when I heard "we got it", so I stopped right there.
