Jayco 17z shower issue.

I'm not sure if it's the set up of the tub, however I have noticed that I get alot of water on the floor running from the back of the tub (toilet side) to the front of the shower. Has anyone come up with a solution to prevent or at least limit the amount of water coming out.

If your getting water on floor make sure camper is level.Mine would hit surround wall and would run that direction.I also installed splash guards i got at lowes for about 7 or 8 bucks.Hope this helps.

I get that some as well. I intentionally keep my front about a "half bubble" higher than the back to allow the AC to drain and find that water runs along the top of the tub and down the side.

Do the splash guards work well? Do you calk them with anything? I was concerned that they would come use while pulling the camper.

Mine hasnt came loose.They came with self adhesive on them.You could caulk around them also if needed.

I do the same - making it slightly lower in the back, but in a pinch I usually just take a damp wash cloth and stuff it against the back wall with a little bit of it going in the tub and it keeps it from getting all over the floor. Other than the level trick, I have not found a good way to stop it yet without having it looking all over caulked.

Have you tried the splashguards yet tafische.They work pretty good.If water runs over to that side the guards divert it back into tub.Thanks.

I glued a vinly strip across the front of my tub. I bought is in Lowes in the vinly trim section. As you shower water will run down the shower walls and get on the front tub wall and then drip on the floor. The vinly strip diverts it back into the tub.

I'll have to wait for it to warm up and get in there and take a look. Since we just picked up the camper last August I haven't really had the time to play around with it much.
