The Eagle I mentioned is in Apache Junction AZ (desert no trees) and with the front cap facing West.

84 today with bright sunny skies.

Was the Eagle owner using AC? Does the trailer have 1 or 2 AC units? This plays an important part with this issue. The weather data for yor location on the 9th only recorded a high of 70 degrees, which could account for it not heating the camper up much during the day. Not that it did not feel like 84, down here 80 feels like 90.

2013 Eagle premiere 321RLST is extremely hot

Thank you for the sudgestions on how to cool down our trailer. On a hot day I have come in from fishing and open up the trailer door and it’s hotter inside the trailer then outside. 98 degrees hot has been the hottest inside.I can see why the dark brown colour scheme has gone away! Lucky for us where our trailer is parked in central BC it really cools down at night( in mountains) . So we only need to run AC during day and it’s only 5 or 6 weeks in the summer.

Out of the box idea that you could try to see if it would help, purchase a few white tarps. Fasten magnets with Velcro and attach to the front. If it drops the temperature significantly, it might be worth it to just paint the front. If you decide to paint and want to save money, there are a lot of ways to reduce the cost.
