Jayco 2017 Whitehawk 27DSRL

So I currently have a 2012 Whitehawk 27DSRL and came across a new 2017 Whitehawk DSRLthis weekend.
Here is the offer in Canadian Funds
$34, 995 for the trailer plus .13 tax $39, 544.35
$20,340 for mine including taxes
Owing approx. $19, 200

The trailer comes pretty loaded, I can not find this price anywhere in Canada. Price I find is around $41,000 with the same options.
I purchased the 2012 last year for $17,000 and have only camped in it twice.
Enough rambling, question would you pull the trigger?

Why would you want to trade your 2012? The new one will be at least #600 heavier. We have a 2013 and are quite happy with it after making some modifications;

Digital thermostat, Fantastic Fan, new faucet in bath and a Progressive Industries EMS hardwired under the table in the back and detachable power cable.

2017 on the way. Familiar with table and power cable out the back. I understand that you hard wired the EMS under the table so I assume there was no room for the cable. Wondered abt that. Wired a short male/female plug into the EMS to match the long OEM power cable?? Tnx for additional thoughts...

porter10 welcome to the JOF. The OEM cable only takes up about half the space under the table but is a PITA to push in to it.

Installed a female connector on the trailer, which has a lid over it to cover it up when cable is not connected.

Put a male connector on the end of the OEM cable. It locks into the female connector on the back of the trailer and has a ring that screws into it to lock it in place. It has a water proof cover over it.

On Amazon look at Marinco products, which are primarily marine products

Got the connectors backwards. Male on the trailer, female on the cable
