IMO, this is a "typical" marketing video.... It describes what their marketing team wants you to see. If watching the video again, focus on:
LED - I like LED lights. Good thing.
Flat sides. I like flast sides. Easy to wash. Good thing.
They mention windows. They don't show if those windows are "Dry Fit" rubber or they use much softer "soft buddy". As seen in my many other posts, they don't show how their windows are sealed. Perhaps they are hidding something in this area. If wondering, dry fit "rubber seal" doesn't last in the long run. Thus, why they don't show the construction of their windows - even within their assembly line videos.
The "suspension" area of this video is a bunch of marketting lettice. It doesn't even show "leaf spring" or independant TorFlex under their specific box. Although, I think its Torflex under this specific TT - because of the 1 second frame showing a glance of its underside front frame area. For much smoother ride, Torflex is much better. Torflex is rubber based (compared to steel) and being rubber, there's much smoother compression and no rebound. Side by side, Torflex system always "out performs" leaf spring systems. Especially when being compared to repeated / off-set bumps - where Torflex is much better (because of its independant design).
With this in mind, I'd like to see the exact same trailer (any box of same weight) with Leaf Spring Suspension and Torflex suspension - side by side. Thus, showing which suspension is much better. And, why the Torflex suspesnion system is always better (regardless of which box brand is above it).
Remember.... A trailer (Jayco, Fleetwood, Prowler) is a box. And under that box is the 3rd party suspensions that does all the work over repeated bumps. And, remember that Dexter holds the majority market share. So in reality, this video isn't really showing "Jayco" and its single axle TT. Its really showing the 3rd party suspension under a TT box. To show an unbiased video about suspensions and why Jayco picked a good 3rd party suspension "under their box", I'd like to see this video comparing different suspension designs. For example, leaf spring compared to Torflex and what happens when optional shocks are added to each suspension design as well. Thus, showing their viewers why this specific Jayco box's suspension is "the best" - compared to other different suspension designs that Jayco could have used instead. Showing why this box's suspension is good and NOT comparing it against anything else is a video with no meat. re: Its lots of lettice without anything to compare it against....
