Jayco Eagle QUESTIONS

Hey Folks,

Looks like I will be picking up the Jayco Eagle 314BHDS this weekend (after grueling research)...I have 2 questions that remain and I am hoping for some clarification.

1. Slide technology is very important to me in terms of seal and reliability. Have you folks have good luck with the Eagle Slide manufacturing, seal, etc?

2. I am trying to confirm weather or not the side walls are 2 inch in thickness. The salesman told me they were, but I cannot verify this on the website.

I appreciate your input

Our Eagle is nearly 5 years old, so things may have changed slide-wise. But our two slides have given us no problems at all, seals the same, and we lived in it for several winters.

I've heard that walls are 2" thick on forums, better than sales talk, but no knowledge beyond that.

Good luck with yours.

Here is another thread on a similar topic. Actually you started both of them. I posted my experience here and it may be helpful to you.
