Jayco Factory Tour

We happened to be in the area (about 80 miles away)today while visiting family for Thanksgiving and did a factory tour. It was a good excuse to leave the in laws behind for a few hours.

It was a great experience to see how they are made, and how the do the custom ordered models. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. Seeing the different materials with some of the upgrade options gave me a great idea of how I'll order my next one.

We visited the Jayco plant last April, we enjoyed the tour very much and I would like to go through again if the tour changes from the motorhome building to the travel trailer building. Another perk of the visit was being able to purchase Jayco clothing and coffee cups, it might sound sappy, but we like being stocked with our Jayco gear.

Allen, if you make the trip to the Jayco plant for the tour, I highly recommend you have lunch or dinner at Das Dutchman Essenhous in Middlebury, it was excellent.
