We have a 2010 Jay Feather that we bought in Aug of last year. To date, we have logged 8 trips throught out Central Texas. Each trip averages 3 to 4 days. The only quality issues are the string blinds (quick fix), black water and gray monitors (have never worked properly) and the extremely small space around the bed. My wife loves the kitchen and all of the appliances. If on solid ground the stabilizers work well, otherwise constantly need tightening.

The best upgrade I put on was the Barker VIP 3500 electric tongue jack. Wow, what a convienance package. It fits perfectly. I seached the web and called Vogt, the dealer in Ft Worth and could not get a solid answer as to whether it would fit. I ordered it and took my chances. Bingo, worked.

Now the issue is the amt of toys we try to carry. Bicycles (no bike rack will work). Jayco said no bumper bike rack. Sea Eagle inflatable kayak, 2 sets of golf clubs, TV dish and numerous chairs and rugs. We love our JF.

Just bought a new 2011 Jayco JayFeather 29L. Traded the 2007 Jayco JayFeather 26L. Love the front bedroom compared to the hybrid bunk.
:hihi:

2011 Jayflight 28BHS. First time for a Jayco. Started with a coleman pop up, moved up to the Anitgua 195ck hybrid, and now our Jayco. Got to say, bigger is better! What a well thought out unit. Espically love the extra wide door. Its the little things they do with this camper that make it so great!

There is now an option that covers all Jayco Toy haulers. Please vote there. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Octane 24Z

Leroy2U,
I have the same trailer in the 07 model. Word of advice..... Watch out for roof leaks, as they are terrible builds around bathroom skylight and the front roof-to-cap seam. Also found water getting in through the front marker lights. Jayco must use monkeys to build these trailers! Replace the skylight with a new one as I can guarante they screwed it down so tight it broke around all 28 screws. Check it out before your warrantee is up!

Eternabond sealant tape will be your best investment.

Also, if you have Goodyear Marathon D rated tires on it, replace them with another brand E rated. I had three out of four blow out, and the fourth was replaced because all the steel belts from the blown tire in front of it turned it into a porcupine. All tires had tread seperation.

Good luck!
