Jayflight vs Eagle

I am sure this topic has been talked about however, I originally started looking at an Eagle 314BHDS however recently started looking at the Jayflight 32BHDS. Build quality of both looks very similar if not the same, is that an accurate statement? I can save $4-6K by getting the Jayflight. I can order a 2017, with 15K A/C, Thermal package, Hide a bed, Aluminum rims, 50 Amp service with 2nd a/c prep, Fiberglass sidewalls (a must for me), 39" TV, Roof ladder, and kitchen skylight including prep, doc fee and shipping for $25k

Would love to hear thoughts between the 2 models

The ease of cleaning the gel coated exterior and interior arched ceiling made the decision for me. No more aluminum sided TT for me.

I think he said he's looking at one with the exterior fiberglass upgrade.

I think the Jayfliight is also wood frame construction instead of aluminum.

I'm a fan of both. Eagles tend to be a bit heavier than the JayFlights. Arched ceilings as mentioned before are a plus on the Eagles.

If the arched ceiling is still there, it is now minimal at best for the 2017 Eagle TT's. According to a Jayco rep I talked with a few weeks ago, Jayco raised the sidewalls to accommodate the residential refrigerator option and taller slideouts but kept the overall trailer height intact. Watching the sole video of the 2017 Eagle TT (338RETS) elsewhere on this site, it sure looks like the arched ceiling is now all one height.

Eagles generally weigh more, have a little higher end fit and finish, and some nicer small touches. Overall, essentially the same. I didn't think it was worth the extra myself and went with the Jay Flight, but the kids really liked that bunkhouse in the Eagle.

When we were looking we were going to add a lot of options to Jay Flight that was standard on Eagle.
We decided on the Eagle for resale value.
Seems like no dealership gives any extra value for added options. So why pay for them if they give you nothing in return. Plus we liked the arched ceiling in our Eagle.
