JT Strong Arm or other stabilizer systems. Do they work? Worth the money?

Like most of us on this forum we have BAL X chocks and they work great. I am looking for something that takes out more movement. There are several stabilizing systems out there like JT Strong Arm and I beleive BAL even has one now. Wanted to hear from the guys on the forum that actually have them installed on their RV. Good bad and indifferent! I am leaning towards JT Strong Arm but would appreciate all input.

lou1216gc I put a set of JT strongarm's on my 5er in Florida over Christmas. These things work better than anything I have tried before. I would say takes out about 95% of all movement. Money well spent. I paid $300.00 for them.

I have used them on my fifth wheels for years. They work great. We sell hundreds of them, yearly, and have yet to have a complaint. BTW, the Ultra Fab Eleminator is the same thing, and comes with extra mounting hardware, there is onw SKU for fifth wheels AND travel trailers, they come with hardware for both.

I can buy from you? I like that! Is this the right SKU for TT and it comes with all the hardware I need? Item # 94-9220, PART # 191025, I have a 2010 Jayco super lite eagle 314BDS roughly around 33'. I am getting excited hearing all of the positive reviews.

Is there a preference between Ultra Fab and JT Strong Arms. Everyone else have JT or Ultra Fab?

These are the JT's

These are the ultra fab

Installtion is pretty strait forward if you can use a drill and hand tools. You have to drill a couple of holes into the bottom of the frame where the upper portion attaches. The lower portion attaches tho the bottom of the landing gear. It took me about an hour or so.....Same thing for the rears.

If I can install them then you can too. Trust me on that one. My model of 5th wheel needed an extra brace along the rear which I was able to mount using the existing holes for the rear jacks. It took me about 5 hours in total but if I was more mechanically inclined I could had probably done it in a little more than 2 hours.

DA MAN it is... I like it:director: Good to know. Not worried about install as I am very handy. Just want the better product if there is one. Are the warranties the same. Think Ultra has 3 year, not sure about JT

No question is dumb. The Administrator is one who oversees the posts. Maybe someone gets carried away and he can delete their response or block it I would think. Certainly no camper would warrant that! lol The campers I have met in the campgrounds and online are some of the nicest people I have ever met and most would go out of their way to help you out.
Happy Camping all.

(Sorry, we really should have answered this....) The above pretty much describes the moderator who as in my case also acts as the welcome wagon, posts in a member's new thread that is going no-where fast, moving discussions from one section to another to keep topics organized, watching for indications of spam, and of course has the "kill" button at the ready to rid forum of innappropriate posts/people/etc. The admin also does the above and additionally is who makes physical changes to the forum (add's new forum topics, provides smiley's, adjusts how long a person has to edit their own postings, etc). Hope this helps
