Just came off of a great trip, BUT....
Spent a week in a great KOA in McKean, PA. Its about 15 minutes south of Lake Eries Presque Isle area. Highly recommend it. We got the deluxe pull through patio site that includes umbrella table and 4 chairs, full size grill and a porch swing. Had a great week swimming in the lake and riding our bikes in Presque Isle. Now, the bad part. Wednesday night our CM/Propane alarm went off at 3 am. We opened the door right away and the alarm turned off, but kept chirping every 10 minutes for about an hour afterwards. We determined that by the way the lights were blinking, that the detector had picked up a high level of propane, though we could smell nothing. The next night it started to chirp every 5 minutes or so. I finally pulled the 9 volt battery from the ceiling alarm and the chirping went away. We opened our windows and went back to bed. My questions are this....did I have a malfuction? Was the chirping due to a low battery? Can anybody answer these questions? Thanks in advance.
