Not sure. Do the slide rooms normally make a clicking noise when they come to a stop on both extend and retract positions ? Mine did before any adjustments were made and now it does not when it is in the retract position and will blow the circuit breaker if you continue to hold the button and then the breaker will reset. And the fact that before any adjustments were made the room sealed fine on the extend position and now it does not and the dealer added bulb seal to compensate for that . I appreciate the dealer trying but the fact that this is a 2013 trailer and is being patched I am just not happy with. Also when I sent pictures to Jayco factory they said it was normal for some trailers to be like that and I was not happy with that answer either. May try another dealer just not sure.

Mine will click when coming to a stop in both directions. The right rear upper corner of my slide would not com flush when retracted after about a year but the slide lock would pull it in tight. I adjusted the slide myself and fixed the problem, but mine is just a small sofa slide and was not out of square just a bit out of adjustment. Mine came with a slide lock, to hold the upper part of the slide when traveling. I will say that when I tighten up that slide lock it pulls the top in real tight. I understand you wanting it fixed right, just trying to offer a temporary solution.

Thanks Crabman. Might try that . I sure hate to take a beating on trading and so far everything else is ok with the trailer.

If mine is now not making the clicking noise do you think that will affect the slide motor or mechanism in any way?

I wonder if it is binding and not extending the whole way causing it to blow the breaker. As soon as the slide stops going out I would release the switch before it blows the breaker. I would not take that beating on a trade either, hopefully Jayco will step up and get it fixed right. Even if they do not, I would continue using it instead of the trade.

The dealer may have a great service department, but apparently the proper repair is beyond their on-site capability, because the slide adjustment shouldn't throw a breaker as you described (excess load on motor). I would push to get Jayco directly involved in a resolution, possibly starting with having a Jayco service representative inspect your TT at the dealer. If required, I would accept the offer to have the Jayco factory make the repair.
