Kitchen Storage

So - we just bought a new to us Jayfeather 30 foot TT - 2006. Just realized in transferring kitchen 'stuff' that there is NO drawer in the kitchen. Looking for ideas of how others store silverware, kitchen utensils,etc...

How about baskets or roll out shelves with dividers in it. We don't have a whole lot of storage in the kitchen in our unit but I do use a couple baskets from the dollar store so things don't move around too much. I am a container person so I try to keep everything in containers, baskets, and dish holders. I also repurposed some of the containers from our tent trailer days.

On some models (our 25Z for example) Jayco had plastic trays for drawers that slide in aluminum tracks inside one of the cupboards. They were missing when we bought our used TT, so I made some wood ones that would fit the tracks. There are also some plastic drawer units in Target that might work for you.

My 17Z did not have any drawers, so I used a shelf and short bungy cord. The cord keeps the cutlery tray from sliding when towing. It can be removed when camping.
