Labor day weekend

Where is everyone camping this Labor day weekend. Us we are at a local campground, Copake KOA. They really fixed the campground nice, since the last time we were here.

Field camping Labor Day weekend (in our own field with spectacular view of the Blue Ridge mountains). We will be going to Andy Guest Shenandoah River SP next weekend, when it isn't so crowded.

At home with guest.
Don't really like camping on Holidays.
Being retired, I prefer the week days and quiet :-)

Enjoy and be safe,
Doug

staying home. being retired, we do our activities during the week and non holiday weekends.
the working families need their family camping time together and can use the CG site that I would otherwise have taken.

We also tend to not camp on long weekends. We are headed out the day after labor day for several nights of camping.

We camped at Pocomoke River State Park in Md. Not real crowded or noisy so it was nice.

We camped at Beech Fork, WV. Had a site right on the lake and enjoyed every second of it!

Labor day weekend

We were only a few miles from you at East Fork ( East Lynn Lake) , had a wonderful weekend. Only bad part, last trip of the season and back to the grind.

We camped in Hot Springs, NC. Fireworks on Saturday night in a small town atmosphere. Not far from our home with hot tubs and river fishing. The Appalachian trail runs through down town.

Muskegon State Park Channel Loop #1. Our first time at that park. We were one of a handful that didn't also bring a boat.

We stayed at St Andrews State Park in Panama City Fl. Big state park with some sites on the water. We were also parked between two Eagle Super lites while there that was a first to be next to another Jayco since we bought ours. Had a good time and was our first time staying at this park.

We avoid travel on holidays, with Labor Day being an exception. There is an ATV rally in Eagar AZ that begins the day after LD. So to get there we have leave on Friday or Saturday. So here we are, enjoying the holiday with the regular summer folks at this RV park, some of whom we're getting to know over the years. Arizona allows participants of registered Off Road events to run their ATVs on the streets during the event. This brings quite a bit of money to the businesses in the area. Of course, ATVing is too coarse for my Boulder Colorado swells, who really run the state, so we gladly send the dollars to our more redneck neighboring states.

We went to Myrtle Beach State Park, arrived early afternoon Friday and pulled out 8AM Labor Day. Great weather and great time with the family at the beach. Five trips down, one more planned for 2013 - Hunting Island, SC for Thanksgiving.

We were at Quakerwoods in Quakertown PA. Nothing spectacular going on there. Just trying different places out. Plenty of toads on the premises kept our little ones occupied for hours!
