Lap sealant

Hey everyone. We bought our 29 foot tt on June of this year. Got to take her out eight times this year since then. Went to Virginia this September for a week and loved it.

My question about lap sealant is what type do we use and how exactly are we applying it? I am assuming that it is just like caulk and we are just checking in all those spaces where there might be great and white sealant. I am new to that and have never applied it before.

Dicor self leveling lap sealant is what the vast majority of people use.

But only on horizontal surfaces of the roof. It's amazing stuff but does run and level. Would be a real mess if used along roof edge. You can get the same product that is not self levelling for these areas.
It comes in white and grey and possibly black if I remember correctly. No clear.
