Leak in hot water tank

We have a 2005 Jayflight. We went to fill the hot water tank last weekend and it leaked out into the cabinet underneath the sink. We did drain it over the winter so we don't think it could have cracked. Is there somewhere else it may be leaking from? 2nd part to this question, if need be, how do we take this tank out?

Thanks for your help

Jack and Dawn

Here's a great article on how to remove the HWH. http://rvtravel.com/blog/rvnow/2007/...placement.html

Mine cracked and leaked along the weld seam, pulled it out and welded it up, been fine ever since.

Your gonna have to do some digging around, could be the fittings on the tank as well.

Did you check to see if it was the pressure relief valve that was leaking?

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Jack and Dawn! If you find you need parts for your older Jayco and can't find them, contact Jayco direct. They say that they can get parts for any product they've made over the years
