LED/LCD TV Connection Question Jay Flight

We looking at purchasing the Jay Flight 28BHS. There are 2 separate locations to mount a TV. The kitchen area and the bedroom. How does the cable connections work under this configuration? For example, if cable TV is provided at the campsite and I connect the cable to the external connection, can I tune different stations from each TV? Also, how would an external directv satellite work? Would the one controller be located in the kitchen and feed both TVs at the same? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Can't speak for satellite, but my trailer is just like my house. Cable enters at one point and then splits for the different rooms. I can control the channel differently on each TV. In the TT the TV itself is doing the decoding, there isn't a set-top box separate from the TV that is decoding the stations.

It's satellites requirement for a set-top box to decode and often requires "home runs" to the dish, that could make it work different from cable. Maybe someone using satellite can weigh in.

With my satellite system you need a seperate "box" for each tv in order to watch different channels at the same time.

The internal wiring should carry a signal to all TV locations [roof ant or cable if connected to the external source]. You can tune each TV separately. Connection a Sat signal requires that you send the external input thru a receiver and then into the internal wiring. That will send the receiver output to all TV's you have connected to the internal wiring. To view separate channels you either need multiple receivers [one for each tv] or a dual receiver that has an output for TV 1 and TV 2. The challenge then is to figure out how to send the separate outputs. My new White hawk 30DSRE allows your to connect tv 1 output directly to the main tv and send the tv2 output to the other tv's by connecting it to the internal TT wiring. Not sure other Jayco's [model or year] all work the same. What I would suggest is hook up a temp tv in the bedroom and then experment with the connections out front. That is how I figured out my wiring as Jayco wasn't a lot of help. They supply wiring to multi tv locations, but haven't given much thought to the set up for the Sat tv that many of us are using.
