Personally, I have not, but my father has done it to his 08 Tango TT. He loves it and he has seen a difference in power consumption.

As we went to purchase our TT, he told me several times to change out to the LED lighting as soon as we can. He was a bit envious that our TT already had them.

We did last season. As far as lighting I like the brightness much better. Don't know about power consumption we always are hooked to 120 AC

IF you boondock a lot they are worthwhile but if you go from hook up to hookup then save your money for camping fees..

Haven't done it yet. I was thinking about maybe having a go at it this spring, simply for the benefit of saving power when boondocking.

I found a cool article on how to do this for cheap, worth a read: IKEA LED Hack for Affordable 12v RV Lighting | Livin' Lightly

I have changed out most of mine. Still in the process, and have a few more to go. We're almost always hooked up to power, so I'm doing it to keep down heat generation. Those standard bulbs put off A LOT of heat. Here in S. TX. I'm looking for any and every advantage I can get against the heat.

The added bonus is the lower power consumption for those times when we need to be conservative with our power.

I switched my old TT over (it was a '77) and was very happy with the reduced power usage and reduced heat, especially since I only had 1 battery and no built in converter. I went with cool white though and didn't like the color.

With this one I bought LED bulbs the first week I had it and bought these in warm white instead. Took around 25 bulbs to do the whole thing and I'm happy with it so far (the old TT only needed 6 bulbs). I did get cool white for the reading lamps next to the couch for better light while reading.

We leave the light above the sink on all night for the little ones as a night light, and I'm a little less nervous about the heat build up with the LED bulbs, so it's a benefit even on shore power.

The one downside is that with the bulbs I bought they aren't quite as bright as the incandescent, but I think it's worth it for the reduced power usage and heat. If you are willing to pay a bit more you can get ones that are just as bright or even brighter. I'm probably going to order brighter ones in cool white for some areas such as the bathroom, vanity, and kitchen sink, and porch light, areas where you want nice bright task lighting. For everywhere else I like the softer warm white ones.

I switched mine out too. Don't the stock 911 bulbs run like 1 amp per bulb or something crazy like that?

Did mine. As noted, much less power consumption, more light. And if you shop around, the conversion cost can be pretty low, too.

I switched mine out using bulbs from M4 lighting. They aren't the cheapest but the quality of their bulbs are exceptional. The differences are unprecedented with lighting quality verses the incandescent, also the temperature is much more comfortable in those hot summer nights. Our 334 has one AC unit but for a 37 footer it should have two units, message is every one of those lights were adding temp to the trailer. Being fireman, was concerned hot hot those original bulbs got. Cost was not cheap, spend couple hundred but easily worth it. Good luck

Because we dry camp about half the time, we just put the stick-up LED lights behind the regular fixtures. We haven't tried them on a trip yet, but expect that they will be fine, and not draw on the battery - even though we just got a new solar unit that should work a lot better than the one we were using. Unless company comes over (which does happen), we don't need bright lighting very often.

I switched ours out. We dry camp a little, not as much as I would like. I have a number of light fixtures to our HTT, and have about 19 light bulbs. I did a test and all of our LEDs use the same power as one incandescent bulb. That had me sold.

We bought cheap china made 48 LED boards on Ebay. I think I paid less than $2 per unit, bought a few extra, just in case. The adhesive foam on them did not last long, so I switched to a heat transfer tape, we had in the lab at work. Others have used a dap of construction adhesive to secure the boards.

Spend some time looking on Ebay. The price for them really vary from vendor to vendor. I found them at a really good price. I bought a few different ones at first to find out what I liked and if they were bright enough. Once I mademyfinal decision I bought a whole bunch.

I just did an ebay search "48 smd white led light panel" and found them for $.98 to $1.7 each. They were in groups of 5 to 10 panels. Still a good price.

I've changed to LED's on both TT's we've owned. We don't boondock so power isn't a motivator. But I found the original bulbs seem to have a short life and generate quite a bit of heat. Our current had a bunch of halogen bulbs that seemed particularly failure prone. Choosing carefully I'm pleased with color and brightness.

I switched my previous TT out a couple of years ago when you couldn't buy LED's at every Camping World store, etc. and they were a lot more expensive.

The first batch I bought off E-Bay were reasonably priced and direct from China. Several of them didn't work out of the package and several more died over the next year. So Quality is important and buying cheap may not be worth it.

I do think overall quality has increased over the last few years with higher volumes and more manufacturers making this type light.
