Led strip causing holes in awning

We just got our 23RBM home a few days ago and noticed 2 holes in the awning. It appears that the plastic strips inserted at the end of the led strip are rubbing when the awning is rolled up.

That's not good, it will only get much worst ! New Fabric time...

I'm not sure what they will do about the plastic edges. Are they sharp where they were cut off and not deburred and smoothed out?

Congratulations on the new 23RBM (or new to you?) and welcome to the forum.

If it's new and you are the first owner, it's a warranty issue.

Congrats on the new rig and welcome to the group. As others have said if it's new make a warranty claim now...
