Ok I got the message Owen LOL !!
How long do you recommend for the sewer hose, is 20 feet long enough ?
Do I really need that slinky you put under the hose
Drinking hose , how long 25 feet enough or should I go with 50 ?
Tell me also why April is so far away ??

Salut Homer:
During our shopping we considered construction and decided to go with fiberglass and aluminum framing for the same reasons some of the others mentioned. A coat of wax per year will go a long way in reducing fading over the life of your trailer.
My preference for the sewer hose is a 20 ft and a 10 ft that connect together because they fit easily into my bumper and a short run 10 ft is easier to deal with if that is all that is needed or when dumping at a dump station.

Flyrotor.....X2 THe delam problem is a bugger to deal with on fiberglass. It looks nicer initially but the sun raises hell with it.

May I suggest a trip around the Gaspé and P.E.I. on your way to Halifax? In a couple of years, my wife and I plan to repeat our trip in that area. Things have probably changed a lot since the mid '70's when we were there... now there is a bridge to P.E.I!

+1
I carry 2-25' white drinking water hoses, 1-50' standard garden hose (for black tank rinse, etc), 2-10' sections of sewer hose with all the fittings (that's how the kit came; Camco Revolution) and 1 plastic sewer hose support.
So far, that's been more than I've ever needed.

Thanks for starting this thread. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. I like the looks of the WhiteHawk line. I think I'll be happy with what I've got, and what is paid for (partly due to the hail damage insurance pay off of my note).

You have a real good point.
I've read somewhere that the grass is often greener on the other side because there is much more horse s...t on the other side. Something we ( I ) should not forget
A nicer way to say it : The grass is always greener on the other side because we didn't stare at that side long enough to realize there was something else wrong with it ...
Ok Im done being a poet...
Happy new year to you all !!
