The dealer told me to carry the main board for under the wheels and a 12" board in front of the main board to climb on first so the the main board can't flip up.

You do not need to put blocks under both wheels. I am not fully familiar with the torsion suspension yet. With the traditional leaf spring suspension, if you place one block under both wheels you get “X” amount of lift. If you place one block under one wheel you get about ½ “X” amount of lift. So depending on the amount of leveling you need depends, on how many blocks and the configuration. This also keeps you from having to carry multiple board thicknesses around. Just remember is important to ramp up to the height you require if more than one block is required. If you use wood blocks, I strongly recommend cutting a bevel (45 deg) on board to help the tire to grip the board so you do not push it.

BEWARE and follow the instructions when using the leveling blocks!! I purchased the 10 pac from CAMCO and used 2 blocks on 1 side of my trailer and they were damaged. I figured I must have used them wrong but there were no instructions available when I went to use them. Apparently the instructions are on the packaging (the box around the case) that was removed and discarded when we unpacked all the new stuff we bought for our new trailer. I contacted Camco and the put the blame on me and told me there was "no way you could have missed the instruction... There on the box". Well my wife and I missed them and threw them away and apparently there are configurations to be used when using them. Needless to say, I am within my 30 days to return the product, Camco put the blame on me and would not replace them and Kim (the women I spoke with) actually raised her voice and me which I never did. I told her politely that I was disappointed on the way they were handling the situation and it would be a nice gesture to replace the 2 damaged blocks and forward me new instructions. So I will be returning the blocks and purchasing Lynxx blocks. I am now off my rant!

I use a cross check level in the refrigerator to level ours. A bullseye level works well too. And I use the camco leveling blocks.
After I back it in I'll hop out of the truck, put the level in the frig and make the decision on how many blocks I need to use. After 2 or 3 times you'll know how many you'll need based on where the bubble is.

Sorry, I should have expanded on that
The main reason you level your RV or trailer is so your refrigerator operates properly. No other reason to do so except of course for your comfort.

Thats what confused me......I was wondering why you put a cross check level in your refrigerator.....I do know the whole reasoning behind leveling the trailer up......Didnt know if this was some sorta 'COLD LEVELING'

My approach is the flip side of that. I measure the frame for levelness, and expect the fridge to also be level, at least well within the range it needs for proper fridge operation.

I built these air bags and save space without a bunch of wood on board It levels perfect.
Although I can't say it was my idea I found the plans on line. They will lift my 7000 pound trailer 6" if needed. All with a hand pump.

X3 on the boards. I have 2x8 inch boards with one cut specifically to fit inside the tandem wheels. That way I only have to put one other 12" long 2 x8 either behind or in front of the tandems. Don't have to move the trailer quite so far from the spot I'm parking in. Works great for me. I angle the inside board at 45 degrees on each end so I can pull forward or back up easily on it. Only angle one end of the other board.

I use the lynx, but I like the boards better. I cut angels on the ends of the boards and the trailer rides up on them nicely. It's also easier to use chocks with the boards I think.

I installed a level on front of trailer. Put boards on side that needs
lifted and watch level in rearview mirror when backing up.

Have the lynks and after a few uses, they started to break! Will be using wooden boards in future

Great iPhone app for levelling
I have a great iPhone app that tells you how much height you have to bring the one side and back or front up.
On the phone I can't see the entire app name but it says RC CO..free.
It allows you to calibrate the level to ensure it is correct.
