Light bulb change

sounds so easy but I went to change a blub in the double light fixture in my 2012 29 RLDS. I took the cover off and when i tried to pull the bulb out it wouldn't budge. My question is this, is it just the bulb that comes out or does the white piece it goes into comes out also. The white piece looks like it is held in there by a clip but I couldn't get that to come out either. I just didn't want to pull to hard and break something.

The white socket stays in the clip. The bulb should be a #921, and it sounds like it's stuck in the socket from the heat. Gently wiggle it, and maybe it'll come loose.

They take considerable more force to pull than you would expect.

Just the bulb removes, the white connector stays.

On my 33 RLDS the dinette bulbs were push and twist. All the other are 921 and just pull out. Like clubhouse said, don't be shy. Wear gloves if your are scared of it breaking..

Thank you all for the replies. That is what makes this forum great. I thought that is how they came out but since I never changed one I was afraid I might break it.
