Looking outside tv mount suggestions
Has anyone added an outside tv mount on an aluminum sided trailer? I've looked at the KeBloc system and really like it, but I can't find where to order a swing arm unit. I know some here are addematly opposed to an outdoor tv, but I love my sports and so does the family! Any input would be appreciated. I've only seen mounts on fiberglass side, so I'm wondering how or if it would work on the aluminum sides. I have the trailer listed in my signature. Thanks!

I can't tell you where to mount the Kebloc, but you can order swing-arm mounts from the Kebloc manufacturer:

Thanks Roger. I couldn't find where to order on their site. Guess I'll call them and see if they sell direct to consumer.

While I do have an outside mount, I picked up a deal-of-the-day cheapo LED projector and an equally cheap hanging screen. Instant 85 inch view under the awning (lights off) and it's pretty cool not needing to sit so close.
It reminds me of campfire movie night at Ft. Wilderness except I don't recall them showing the Superbowl. Just mice, ducks, and dogs; one could talk and one couldn't...

They do sell direct to customer but don't have an online store. So you have to call them.

As sennister said, they don't have an online store. But I have contacted them in the past - they'll be glad to sell to you, just give them a call.
Good luck!

Thanks for all the help! I'll contact them. Now, does anyone have experience mounting on aluminum side? Hopefully it won't be too difficult. Just find a stud? I'll try and get my wall schematics from Jayco.

I made my own outside TV, kinda.
My unit came with the outside barbeque. its a crappy barbeque and I rarely use it.
But I did convert the slide on bracket into a removable TV mount. I don't have a picture as my unit is in storage, but I simply drilled a piece of wood to fit onto the two arms on the bracket. I attached to metal hangers to the the wood and, viola, a removable outside TV.

That's a great idea! I use the heck out of my grill though. Lol. I guess I'm in the minority of people who love the bumper mount grill. [emoji23]

I ordered my tilt/swivel/arm bracket and two Kebloc mounts thru their website. However, you have to jump thru some hoops to do it in that you have to create a new customer account first and wait for an email confirmation that your account is ready. After signing in, you can browse the site and it shows the pricing and how to order.

Actually, my barbeque was not a bumper mount. Back in 2013 it was mounted on the side of the trailer. Not the best location as is it below the awning. Of course, I always retract the awning before barbequing. Who wants a fire below the awning????
Anyway, the bracket is on the aluminium and easily supports the 32 inch tv that came with the trailer. Better location for watching TV than grilling!

Have the same camper you do a model year older, haven't done this so just consider this advice for consideration and not voice of experience. If I was gonna tackle it, and I wanted to make sure to have a good mount area or an area to be able to find the studs, I would mount it in the area under the oven on the kitchen slideout (should be a cabinet there). You could either open up the inside wall in the cabinet and locate the studs, or you could mount a piece of 1/8-1/4 metal to the outside of the unit (maybe a steel stud), put a few bolts thru into the cabinet, aluminum, and inside panelling and use nuts and a large board to distribute the load over a few studs, essentially it acts as a large clamp. You would connect the TV mount to the metal on the outside, probably before you attached it to the trailer. You would also have a plug on the outside of the slide handy as well, but with the electrical for the refrigerator and that outdoor plug in that area, you would have to be cautious on where the romex in that wall is too. Perhaps another reason to open the back wall of the cabinet up.
Whatever you do, don't cover up the intake for the refrigerator, that thing needs all the airflow it can get.
I have also thought a time or 2 about putting a TV in the rear kitchen and just remove that burner and counter, basically make it a refrigerator and a TV. The very few times we have moved our TV outside, we just threw it on the picnic table or a cooler.

I'm thinking in between the slide and the outdoor kitchen. It should have a stud runny beside the window. I'll get the schematics from Jayco and be sure. I'm more worried about the mount on the aluminum side. It's not flat like the fiberglass, so I don't know if that will be an issue.

Have you looked at the large supply of HDTV mounts WALMART has on display there... They all support the standard hole supports on the back of the HDTV sets...
Of course doing this almost makes it permanent and when bad rain storms come up you will be hustling to get the TV back inside the trailer .
I saw one mounted to the inside of the storage bay compartment and it would easily swing in and out of the storage bay. This was the best idea yet to me. Even when you walk away from the patio area you could simply open the storage bay door and swing the HDTV back inside and lock the door.
The part I hate about having a TV outside as you will be sitting there enjoying what you are watching and just happen to look behind you and there will be three or four folks watching from the path. When they see you turn around they start walking away hehe...
I have also seen where someone made a nice table out of the slide on BBQ setup most trailers already have on the outside... I have two of those BBQ stoves still in my garage never opened haha... Having a hot stove just inches away from the outside wall never did click with me too much... With the table top idea you won't need the swing arm - just a bungee cord to keep the wind from blowing your HDTV set off the table top...
I got introduced to the BLUE TOOTH portable speakers recently by the kids here and we are always sitting outside with them on listening to the FM Radio or TV audio coming from the inside electronics... These are neat as they are small and have great sound and you pick it up and carry it inside at a moments notice...

I've considered that, Roy, but I want to be able to use one tv for inside and outside. Storage bay is not an option as I have a tt. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Another thing I do when we first get to the campground spot is to use a TEE at the pedestal for the cable TV. Then I hook one up to the trailer and then run a short lead under the trailer so I can hook it up to a TV outside... We just set on up on a table next to the POPUP trailer...

That location would be ideal, but Careful on your placement and dangling cables with that furnace exhaust there (assuming yours is the same furnace placement)
There have been posts on here that thing gets hot enough to melt water hoses.
Mounting there you could also probably fish a coax connection from into the furnace maintenance area as well and into the rear storage area

Yes. My furnace is right there. We mostly camp here in Alabama, so not much furnace usage. Lol. I'll put a power strip in the outdoor kitchen for power and just run the coax under the trailer. I usually set up a table in that area too, so my Wally can sit on it. I would just set a tv on the table, but I don't want to carry a separate tv.
