magnun roof system

can anyone tell me the year jayco first started using the magnun roof system. I have a 2011 X 23 B hybrid and want to know if i can safetly walk on it. if it has the magnun roof I feel confident it will support me. can't find any where that gives me this info.

Model year 2013 was the first year for the magnum roof.

Does your roof have a dome like shape to it looking at the roofline from the back of the trailer? If so, it's a magnum roof.

Well my 2012 is domed, not magnum, and OK to walk on.

Looking at 2011 brochures for JayFeather there is no mention of "walk on roof" unlike the JayFlight and Eagle lines. They mention the roof is foam core vacuum bonded between Luan and convered with membrane. No truss system or substantial decking.

NO -- I would not walk on your roof.

I had a 2008 Jayflight 29BHS that came with an access ladder. Never had an issue walking on that roof.

If in doubt put some plywood down first, then walk on that. It will help spread the load.
