Mattress solution (perhaps)

I just ran accross this ad in the Albany,NY Craigs list. They tell me they do mail order. The price looks good to me if they are any good. I don't know anything about them other than whats below.

RV REPLACEMEMT MATTRESSES MADE TO ORDER - $250 (Cohoes)

Powered by Leaflet — Terms
109 Remsen St
The Cohoes Mattress Company offers RV owners the opportunity to acquire custom sized mattresses for your RV of the type
and quality you would have in your home. Why continue to sleep on the low quality mattress that came with your RV? Why try and sleep on
a crummy mattress if you purchased your RV used? Why not enjoy staying in your RV when you are out on the road?

Our factory can custom size any of the mattresses we offer in our line up. This includes Firms, Plush, Pillow Tops and Viscious Memory Foam topped Sets.

Mattresses Start at $250. Our prices are way below the prices offered at an RV dealer. And our quality is 100 times better.

Come over and try one of ours at our factory showroom. We are open by appointment, so please call ahead

Looks like a real good idea, if the quality is as good as advertised. Definitely worth a look-see, if you are anywhere near Cohoes, NY, IMO.

100 times better sounds like a stretch. It would be nice to hear from anyone that has been to their store or bought a mattress from them.

I looked at a custom manufactured mattress as a replacement for the one that came in my Designer. The only problem I found was weight. A good traditional mattress is heavier than a cheap foam mattress and I was interested in weight reduction as well as a better mattress. So I bought a Sleep Number.

Edatlanta's Sleep Number was a good move IMO. I doubt you're going to get the mattress you need for 250. We pulled our queen mattress from our Eagle and replaced it with a Comfortaire, just like a Sleep Number and I think even an older company, but without all the advertising $$$ built into the price. Have a king in the home now and very pleased with both after a year and a half.

Just happened to get an email from Camping World and noticed that they have the sleep number short queen on sale. $148.00 off.
