Mayden Voyage!!!

Hello all, the wife and I finally went on our first trip with the new White Hawk. Everything worked perfectly and there were no problems to report. The only thing we weren't able to use for any length of time was the A/C. It was still 55-60 degrees out. The fish weren't biting, but we sure had a lot of fun in her. Were planning our second trip as we speak.

I can't remember who on this fantastic site suggested the cookie sheet in the oven to even out the heat, but who ever it was Thank You!!!! It worked perfectly. We baked some cookies and muffins to test it and they turned out just like at home.

Thought I would share some pic's of the trip. John

It's nice to camp at the beginning or end of the season. Looks like you had the campground to yourself. Makes for a more relaxing trip. Especially when everything works the way it should!

Well now I'll need to look around for the cookie sheet trick before we go on our little adventure this coming weekend to celebrate DH's birthday.
Congrats on a great first outing. I hope ours is as successful as yours was.

You can also use ceramic tiles, cheap ones, in the bottom of the oven to even out the heat. Four will arrange nicely to do the trick.

"Thought I would share some pic's of the trip. John" Anyone got any hints on posting pictures to the site. Seems as if all my pictures are too big in size. Do you photoshop them to a smaller size or just use a camera that takes smaller size pictures? Just curious
Thanks for the nice photos

You need to start a post that your going to post pic;s in. Then click on the "paperclip" icon above just to the right of the smiley face icon at the top of the box. Pick the pictures you want to post and after they download, just insert them in your text. It should size them automatically for you. Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone for the comments. We did nearly have the place to ourselves. Nice to be able to get out before the real season begins. This is the largest Trailer we have owned, so thanks for all the great information on this site. It has helped a lot.
