metal shavings?

We have a 2016 33RLDS when the slides open we find metal shavings on the floor. Anyone else have this issue? One of the slides struggles to go in and out. Comes in unevenly, and sometimes thuds.

Metal shavings on the floor are never a good sign. Looks like it is still under warranty? I would take it to your dealer soon.

We found metal shavings just about everywhere they didn't clean completely when we took delivery. I chalked it up to 'construction debris' and am not generating more shavings as time goes on. Sounds like you have a slide out issue for sure. Is that the only area where you see the shavings, and you are continuously getting more of them? Dealer ASAP if so.

We started saving them and took it to the dealer. They "adjusted" the slide, said they didn't know where the shavings are coming from and sent us on our way.

Understood, but the real question is are you continuing to see more of them show up in places where previously there were none?

Difference between having a major problem and a non-event.

Every nook and cranny of all our storage compartments were loaded with metal and wood shavings. I also wrote it off as construction debris...

Probably from when they cut out the window openings in the siding, but that`s just a guess.
