Things moved pretty quickly for us today. At 8 AM this morning our dealer called in reponse to an e-mail Doug sent yesterday describing our situation. He said he didn't have the part and couldn't get it from Jayco in time to get it to us by Tuesday. Our situation is further complicated by the fact that we have to make an ugent trip to Oklahoma, we need to take the trailer, and we need to leave Wednesday.
The service manager said he thought we could get parts locally at the hardware store and he would reimburse us. Luckily we were able to find them, and once again, Doug was lying on the floor fixing plumbing. The P-trap is in and it doesn't leak!
The wet insulation is our greatest concern. If left as is it will create health problems that Doug can't tolerate.
700 miles is a little more of a maiden voyage than we planned, but we will cross our fingers that nothing else was "forgotten." Thanks for the replies, and your suggestion was an interesting one Texas Sam. We will see what develops when we get back next week.
