In our previous Greyhawk, every switch except two were labeled. One was in the bathroom and was obvious. The other was near the battery disconnect switch by the entrance door. That one took some time to track down. Turned out to be the outside speakers.

In our new camper, none of the switches are labeled, except for the ceiling vents and fans. We had a couple switches that were not obvious. It took a little while to figure out what the last one was. Turned out to be the light above the front sewer and water connection.

Could it be an outside outlet that is controlled by a switch? We have 2 outlets under the awning. One is controlled by a switch, the other is always hot.

You know, come to think of it, I would pull the switch out and make sure it's connected properly or to anything at all. Could have been a wire connector came off, or there was never supposed to be a switch there and they screwed up.....neither would surprise me.

I had a mystery switch on my Flagstaff 5th wheel and it turned out to be the two SCARE LIGHTS that were mounted up high near the roof line on each side of the trailer near the rear...

I was flipping the switch off and one one evening and the wife came in asking why the scare lights were going off and on hehe...

Mystery on/off switch

Thanks all for the help. It was the LED lights under the counter but no wires hooked up to the switch. Item # 3 for the dealer.

Thanks so much.

Would it really bankrupt Jayco to label their switches?

That's what mine switch controls. The wife and I have determined that's going to be a perfect night light. It's not too bright, but will function well to keep on at tailgates. She tends to go to bed long before I do.

And it may serve as a night light to light my path to the bathroom in the rear.
I tend to have to go at least once in the night.

I've thought the same thing. Something else I'll have to do.

No but that would take an extra 10 minutes and slow down the production line.
