Need TV mounting advice

Hi,
We recently purchased a 2015 267BHSW and I am in the middle of installing a TV mount into the area between the bedroom and kitchen/living area. I bought a TV mount from Target, and it is a "stud mount". I went out to the trailer and used a stud finder….problem I see is there are no studs within the area of the white sticker that reads "mount TV bracket here". Is there a special RV TV bracket that I need, or am I missing something?
Thanks.

It should be a cross blocking between the studs. Don't be surprised if they missed that at Jayco to install. Call the dealer because you have warranty. And also call Jayco.

You may want to try just pushing some on the spot marked with the "mount tv..." I was somewhat skeptical as well when I mounted mine, but when I pushed on the area I could tell there was something extra back there. Also might try driving a very thin nail in the area to see if it is there.

I believe there is just a plywood backer and not a true stud under the mount sticker. I drilled some small pilot holes when I mounted my TVs....one sticker was on, the other was a bit lower than the sticker but the stud type mounts worked just fine. Don't use the screws in the kit unless measure them first as most are longer than the wall is deep.

TV wall attachment

I am going to mount a TV above the bedroom door in my 40FER.
I have a copy of the curb side wall framing. I plan on screwing two vertical 2x2's attaching them at the top of the wall and then to the door header and spacing them to fit the bracket. Then attaching the mounting bracket to the 2x2's.

We have a 33bhts Jay flight and jayco had a backer sticker there for a tv mount and yep you guessed it no backer there and now we are getting a new rear wall. I tryied to avoid it but after the dealer drilled several holes in it to locate a stud and had no luck I guess that's where we are headed. So please use caution when trying this .

I found that the sticker was off, but there was a plywood backer (I think 3/4") close to the sticker. I also found one stud, so used screws in that and good sized toggle bolts through the backer.
