Hi Pawpaw, we have a similar size unit 26BHS with a Yukon XL for our TV, and we've taken it to Rushmore. You'll have a great time, enjoy! We also moved up from 16ft (prowler). A few items I recommend would be to look at coil spring air bags for your rear suspension, you may want to look at some wheel chocks to stabilize your dual axels. We have the scissor jack style and it helps a huge amount in minimizing front to rear shaking. Finally on a tourism tip I have a "must drive" stretch of road that needs to be checked out. We did this with our trailer in tow and did fine, however I would highly recommend you set up at camp first and detach before embarking on this wood bridge & tunnel excursion. There is a nearby route known as the Peter Norbeck Byway. This route has multiple single lane tunnels that have been carved through the granite hill and the tunnels perfectly frame Mount Rushmore. Check it out, you won't be sorry.

Have fun!
