I'm on about my tenth recreational vehicle and I have never received a new one that did not have a battery on board. Can they even check out all the systems on board without a 12 volt battery? The 2010 we purchased last year had a large slide out and the dealer even put in a second battery to make sure we would have plenty. Depends on teh dealers I guess.

I would walk away if that was not explained before the walk thru and PDI. Never bought a rig with batteries being a extra cost.

There is no way a dealer could check it out properly w/o batteries and dangerous to send you out without one.

EVERY battery I have ever bought from Walmart, be it deep cycle or car battery has been relaced under warranty. And there have been several. IMO they are garbage. I will never buy another battery from Walmart.
