New Jay Flight question

I'm thinking of upgrading. Looking at Jayco's website, it looks like the new Flights have much smaller FW tanks.

My '12 in my sig has a 90 gallon tank, looks like the new ones are 42, with an option of another tank in upgraded package.

I do some boondocking, and the large tank has really been handy, not sure I would want to give that up.

Anyone bought a new one, and been through this?

I have a 2016 28RBDS with the elite package. It has two 40 gallon fresh water tanks.

I have a 2015 27RLS with the elite package. It has two 40 gallon fresh water tanks.

We boondock and, after having 80 gallons, I would not willing go to 40 gallons.

Adding the elite package adds the second FW tank in all the models I looked at. It seems to be the only way to get the larger tank.

Thanks

Thats what I figured. I was surprised because I thought the 90 gallon tank was a major selling point.

My trailer has been great, no problems. Only thing is I hate is making the bed with only 3/4 of one side open, almost imposible to make the bed, or change sheets.

I'm an old single guy, so I don't need a large trailer. Probably go with the 23RB.

I have the 23RB elite and love it, almost got the 19 and glad I didn't.

If you are considering ordering a new tt, I t sounds like the factory is now making 17's from what some have posted, or is very close to doing so if not. The packages have changed for '17 from what one of the members here posted. The Elite package is not a mandatory option, but I don't recall if in the post it had the info regarding the fw tank(s). It was posted that some items included in the Elite package for '16 were now going to be eliminated from the "mandatory" option for '17, but be available as a standalone option.

I will try to find the post.
