Hi,
I am seriously considering buying a 1996 Jayco Eagle SL-240 from a friend of a friend for $4200. From the pics and her description, it looks very well taken care of, and she has all the manuals that came with it (not sure if she is the first owner or not). She says it has no leaks and everything works.
Just wondering what things I should look for that perhaps she overlooked? I heard that all RV's and trailers should be "sealed", or maybe that means having the seals re-done every 1-2 years. I have to drive 5 hours to see this thing and I want to make sure I know what to look for and ask about. Like, what parts tend to wear out? Have they been replaced?
This is my first trailer purchase and I am really excited, and it looks like it is a good deal, but I want to make sure I don't screw it up
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'll report back my experience.
Thanks!
Dave
