New Owner Questions - 2016 Jayflight SLX 264BHW

Just purchased, used last weekend, got it into storage lot, and about to go back out tomorrow evening with it. I have a few questions that don't appear to be covered in the manual and I can't find on here, given I've spent some time reading a few pages of different threads...

1 - Pump drain, there appears to be a hose coming from the water pump that has a valve on it. This hose was under the sink and inside the camper with a little bit of water on the floor in there. I cleaned that up, realized it was closed and that it must be a drain. There is also a hole on the floor of the camper there that it looks like that hose goes through. I don't know why it was pulled up, but should it be pushed back through and stay that way or does it need to go into the camper for transport? If I can push it back through and leave it, I'll put some expanding insulation in there to keep critters/bugs out.

2 - low point drains - how often and where do you drain these (at the camp site)? To drain water heater, I assume I leave the hot and cold valves open and just use the low point drain to release it (what dealer mentioned)?

3 - screwing into the body/roof. I want to put a 45w solar panel on the roof, 4 screws per panel, 3 panels. I assume I'll use some household 25 year caulk all over the hole and screw, but what screws and how deep (self tapping and 1" penetration)? I also want to mount some camco levels once I get it leveled this weekend for ease of use. Would the same work for the front and side walls exterior? Is 1" penetration too far?

4 - I haven't located my black tank flush fitting. I found the drain and was successful there, but anyone own one of the SLX 264's and know where the fitting is to connect the flush hose?

5 - Accessory propane connection - my wife doesn't let me cook inside. I use my little coleman grill outside for smell/grease. Is there any accessory ports for the propane?

1: it's a quick winterizing setup. You'll put that hose into a bottle of antifreeze, turn on the pump, and then open each faucet.

2: I'm new, but I haven't drained anything yet other than for fun and to see how stuff works. I plan to if weeks/months go by and I haven't used it. For now, it hasn't been more than 2 weeks since we've stayed in the camper, so we're constantly using the system.

3: can't help ya.

4: 264bhw does not have a tank flush. A couple products that may help.

1. Gocarp hit it. I get the suction going by filling the hose with water before plunging it into the antifreeze jug. Search a bit an you'll find diagrams of valve settings if you need them.

Don't forget to drain the outside shower faucets if you have them.

2. I open a faucet, then go outside and open the pressure relief valve on the hot water tank, then remove the nylon plug. Be sure to give the water time to cool down first. I put the plug back in, loosely, when it's drained in order to keep bugs out.

REMEMBER to open the system in the springtime so you don't damage the WH by turning it on without water in it.

Checklists are very helpful. You can do a search and find them for everything from before you leave home to setting up, tearing down, winterizing and dewinterizing. Probably others I'm not thinking of.

The low point drains are something I probably only open when winterizing before adding antifreeze. Expect water to flow slowly.
