New owner questions

We picked up 284bh SLX last month and have a couple of questions

1) where can we get a cutting board to fit over half the sink ?
2) is the shower curtain that came with the tt water proof or is it for looks ?

People on here have used a regular plastic cutting board and cut it to shape. Do a search on the forum and you'll see what I'm talking about. Turn out really nice!

Good luck and welcome!!

If the shower curtain is anything like the one in ours, it's fabric and for looks.

I went the self made route on the sink cover as well.

So what did you end up doing? I was looking at an extender with a regular shower curtain!

I didn't know the shower curtain is just for looks, I have been using them on the last two trailers with no problem.

I love the butcher block idea!! That's awesome!

The shower curtain does not have to be waterproof. You could hang a bed sheet and use it as a shower curtain occasionally and get the same result as with a plastic shower liner. Water won't pass through, you do need sufficient time between uses for the curtain material to dry though to prevent mildew. I'd suggest leaving the vent fan on and open during and for a few hours after the shower.
